About Us

Every meaningful organisation begins with a simple idea.

Our Story

Ours began with a vision to build a creative media hub where stories could be transformed into powerful tools for education, communication and social impact. We believed that storytelling could do more than entertain it could inform, inspire, preserve knowledge and change lives.

That vision became reality in 2018 when Debisibusybee Media was officially registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Nigeria. Since then, we have partnered with development organisations, institutions and individuals to script, produce and deliver compelling media content, including radio dramas, documentaries, jingles, features and communication campaigns. Alongside our production work, we have facilitated trainings, workshops and webinars that strengthen communication and storytelling capacity.

As our experience grew, so did our understanding of a much bigger challenge.

We realised that many aspiring storytellers and media professionals possessed passion but lacked access to practical, industry-relevant training. This inspired us to develop our first Audio Drama Bundle E-Courses covering story development, scriptwriting and production. The goal was simple: equip others with the knowledge and practical skills to create professional, audience-centred stories that resonate across Africa.

The results exceeded our expectations. Three successful cohorts graduated from the programme, with participants going on to create new radio drama programmes now airing on multiple radio stations. What began as a training programme had become a movement for developing the next generation of storytellers.

That success led to the birth of Everything Audio Theatre (EAT) Academy—the learning and capacity-building arm of Debisibusybee Media. The Academy was established to provide structured, practical and industry-focused training that prepares learners for today’s rapidly changing media landscape.

As storytelling continued to evolve through digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence, we evolved with it. AI-powered storytelling tools were integrated into our curriculum, and our programmes expanded beyond audio drama into Audio & Multimedia Storytelling. Today, our learners benefit from more than 30 practical lessons and modules that cover storytelling, voice, multimedia production, digital communication, AI tools, and content creation for the modern knowledge economy.
